Had the loveliest meal tonight with mates, everything was so fresh and full of flavour. Excellent vegan options and I can’t wait to come back and try some more of the menu, deffo gonna go for cocktails next time! General consensus from the four of us was best pita bread we’ve ever had. Highly recommend 10/10 would eat myself into a food coma again
Had a delish Friday night dinner with a friend - glad we booked as it was nicely buzzing and full! Service with a smile as always - friendly, welcoming, happy to explain and advise on what to order (2 of us shared the mezze and we all happily figured out what it should include to make sure it was enough!) All the food was sensational - fresh, vibrant, colourful and flavourful. Everything arrived hot (considering how many different things we had, this was great) and the pickle juice martini might be one of my all time fave cocktails. Brill food, top notch service, and clearly being run with love and enthusiasm.
I travel across the UK for Sababa falafels!! I’ve been to Sababa three times now, the quality of their food is outstanding and their drink menu is delicious. The staff are attentive and friendly. Seems I live in Cornwall, I can’t visit as often as I like. But Sababa is a must visit each time I’m in Southend. Highly recommended!!
A delightful spot for lunch in the city, this tiny street front cafe also includes a “secret garden,” an outdoor dining space just around the corner from the store front. Staff are professional and wonderfully service minded, happy to give recommendations and perfectly pleasant. Items on the menu are fairly priced, and portions are just right. Food is flavorful, made of quality ingredients, freshly prepared, and well presented, and the menu appears to be meat free, which the hummus and falafel more than make up for. The platters and pitas were all delicious, and this is a spot we’d definitely return to, especially when the weather is just right for lunch in the garden.
Amazing chatty staff! Such a great and chilled atmosphere. Started eating before I remembered to take a picture! Food was gorgeous and we ended up ordering more!! This place is literally a little slice of heaven you can really tell what a labour of love it is
Amazing place! We really enjoyed all the dishes - fresh produce, delicious, and beautifully presented. Both owners (Ella and Jack) were absolutely lovely! They even gave our dog some cream to lick
I visited over the weekend for lunch and had a super enjoyable experience. I opted for the 'sababa plate', cauliflower wings & an iced latte. The food here is so fresh and flavourful, perfect in this hot weather. Service was great and I am keen to visit again for cocktails in the evening. Would absolutely reccommend Sababa if youre visiting southend!
Made to feel so welcome glad it’s doggy friendly my dog loves the pub cups and I love the cocktails. They’re really really nice so is the wine so is the food I love the puffins and most things I’ve tried off the menu. Highly recommended. I visit 3 to 4 times a week so I am a crazy fan. Amazing staff, caring and great to talk to.
